macOS 14 or later, Apple silicon (M1 and newer)

notoo Desktop isn't signed by Apple or Microsoft yet, so your computer asks you to confirm the first time you open it.
Open the downloaded installer and drag notoo into the Applications folder.
Double-click notoo in Applications. When the warning appears, click Done.
Open System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll to the bottom, click Open Anyway next to notoo, and enter your Mac password when asked.
On macOS 14, or comfortable with Terminal?
macOS 14: drag notoo into Applications, right-click notoo, choose Open, then click Open again.
Comfortable with Terminal? Run this once instead, then double-click notoo:
xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/notoo.appDouble-click the downloaded installer to run it.
If you see “Windows protected your PC”, click More info, then Run anyway.
You only need to do this once. Updates won't be blocked again.
