Study Tools
Mind maps, flashcards, quizzes, AI chat, and Study Plans.
Every Study Pack can be turned into practice material. Open a note and use the Mind Map, Flashcards, and Quiz tabs in the panel next to it, or start from Mindmap, Flashcard, or Quiz in the sidebar to create one directly from a file, link, or text.
Mind maps
Click Generate Mind Map to see how the ideas in your note connect. Zoom in and out, expand or collapse branches, and download the map.
Flashcards
Click Generate, choose how many cards you want, and Notoo writes question-and-answer cards from the key points of your note. Click a card to flip it, and use Previous and Next to move through the deck.
Quizzes
Click Generate and set up the quiz:
- Question types — Single Choice, Multiple Choice, Fill in the Blank, True or False, and Short Answer. Set how many questions of each type you want.
- Difficulty — Easy, Medium, Hard, or Mixed.
After you submit, Notoo shows your score, the correct answers, and an explanation for each question.
AI Chat
Ask questions about your notes and get answers based on them. Open AI Chat in the sidebar, or the AI Chat tab next to a note.
- Scope — chat about a Single Note or across All Notes (Pro).
- Mode — Warm Toto is patient and walks you through the logic step by step. Dark Toto is direct and focused when time is tight.
- Quick prompts — for example "Summarize the entire note in three sentences" or "Explain an important concept".
Study Plan
A Study Plan turns one or more Study Packs into a daily review queue for an exam.
- Open Study Plan in the sidebar and click New plan, or click Add to Study Plan on a note.
- Enter the Exam name and Exam date, then add the Study Packs you need to review.
- Take the five-question diagnostic. It finds your weak concepts.
- Every day, open Today's Review. It mixes due flashcards and questions on your weak concepts. Grade each card Again, Hard, Good, or Easy so Notoo knows when to show it next.
In Plan settings you can change the exam date, the number of cards and questions per day, and turn on email reminders (smart, daily, or weekly). Reminders are only sent when tasks are due and you have not studied that day.
