Turn Materials into Notes
Upload files, paste links or text, and work with the notes Notoo writes.
Upload files
On the Dashboard, click Upload File, then choose files or drag them into the dialog.
Supported formats: PDF, Word (DOC, DOCX), PowerPoint (PPT, PPTX), Excel (XLS, XLSX), TXT, and images (JPG, PNG). You can upload several files at once and Notoo combines them into one Study Pack.
The dialog shows how many files, pages, and megabytes your plan allows. If a document is longer than your plan covers, Notoo creates the Study Pack from the first pages and lets you unlock the rest later.
Paste a link or text
Click Paste Content and either:
- paste a YouTube or web link (it must start with
https://orhttp://), or - paste plain text, such as your own notes or an article.
Upload a lecture recording
If you recorded a class with another app, click Upload a Lecture Recording. Supported formats are MP3, M4A, WAV, AAC, OGG, WEBM, MP4, and MOV. Notoo transcribes the audio with timestamps and turns it into study notes. Upload one recording at a time, without other files.
To record a class as it happens, see Record a lecture live.
Choose the note language
Before generating, pick a language in Select Language. Notoo writes the note in that language even if the source is in another one. Leave it on Default to use the language of your Notoo interface.
Read your notes
- Table of contents — jump between sections of a long note.
- Highlight and Bold — select text to mark what matters. Your marks are saved with the note.
- Translate — select a passage to see a translation next to it.
- View fullscreen — read without distractions.
If a note misses content, mixes up the reading order, or gets tables or formulas wrong, tell us with Was this note helpful? at the end of the note. For scanned or complex layouts you can retry with layout parsing or OCR from there.
Download your notes
Click Download to save the note as DOCX or PDF (Pro).
Find your notes and files
- All Notes lists every note. Search by title or content, sort by date, and switch between list and gallery view.
- My Library keeps the original files, links, and texts you uploaded, together with the notes, mind maps, flashcards, and quizzes made from them.
